The pig farm Henan Yifa Animal Husbandry Co., LTD was carefully selected as demonstration farm for the German-Sino cooperation on pig husbandry to develop a pig farm of high productivity, product quality and resource efficiency by using German know-how and technology. Chinese and German project partners will jointly work together to contribute to a sustainable development of pig husbandry in China.

Five sub projects will be implemented that will jointly lead to an overall improvement in productivity, product quality, resource efficiency and animal welfare on the demonstration farm. Achievements will be demonstrated in training and advisory sessions as well as in expert meetings and technical events in China and Germany.
